Fundraising Opportunities

We are looking for individuals and organizations to partner with us to fundraise. There are many fun and easy ways that you, your family, your organization, or even your company can help. Even seemingly small events can bring in big money, as well as raise awareness and build community. It’s a great way to get involved with St. Gianna’s Place and have fun at the same time! Listed below are some fundraiser suggestions for your consideration:

Neighborhood or Club BINGO Night: Invite your neighbors, friends, family, and association members over and play the classic game of BINGO. We have a model available to follow. Just add snacks for a great evening to benefit a great cause!

Lemonade Stand: This oldie but goody never fails. It’s one of our favorites because it allows even very young children to get involved. Rally your neighbors to support St. Gianna’s Place with some refreshing lemonade on a hot summer afternoon. A colorful donation jar is rarely left empty. Add a batch of cookies or brownies and success is guaranteed. This gem of a fundraiser isn’t about how much money is raised, but about raising awareness and building community. It’s a great way to introduce children to charitable work.

Bake Sale: This event can follow the same model as the lemonade stand, or you can recruit an organization you’re affiliated with, or friends and family, to go bigger. Local businesses and churches often allow bake sales on their property. We can provide a list of those that do so.

Birthday Party Gift Donations: Do you have a special birthday coming up? Why not ask your friends and family to donate to St. Gianna’s Place instead of bringing a gift to your party? As Matthew so eloquently wrote: 19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth,… 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven,…21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19-21.

And your ideas are welcome, too! If you have an idea for a fundraiser, no matter how big or how small, we want to hear about it! Please call us at (603) 521-8440, or email us.  A Board member will contact you soon.
