WHAT LIFE HERE LOOKS LIKE

A Safe Home to Call Your Own

St. Gianna's Place is a maternity home in the Catholic tradition, located in Southern New Hampshire. Here, you can live throughout your pregnancy and up to two years after your baby is born.

Our home is warm and welcoming, with private bedrooms, full bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, and a family room. We even have a play area where your baby can learn, grow, and thrive.

Women come to St. Gianna's Place to find stability, healing, and a fresh start. While you're here, you'll set personal goals, build employment skills, create a budget, attend classes, and develop a strong foundation for the life you want to build for yourself and your child.

Our team walks beside you every step of the way. We help you stay on track with medical appointments and other important commitments. Whenever possible, we provide transportation, which often becomes more than just a ride. Those moments become how we get to know you, hear your story, and build real friendship.

Here, hope takes root, strong foundations are built, and new beginnings begin.

Need somewhere to sleep tonight? We can point you to shelters that can help right now.

Let's be honest.

Your days at St. Gianna's have a rhythm.

One that gives you room to rest, room to grow, and room to remember who you are becoming.

Support That Doesn't End at the Door

We don't consider our work done once you leave. We stay connected with our mothers and their babies, walking with them as they continue to grow and build the life they came here to create.

~ Isaiah 58:11

"You shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water whose waters never fail."

Growing Together

Healing and growth take courage, and every new beginning starts with a single step.

Life here comes with commitments:

  • Work or attend school 20 hours a week
  • Complete goal assignments
  • Participate in in-house classes, prayer, and Sunday Mass
  • Respect the rules and values of the house
  • Help care for the home and shared living spaces
  • Save 30% of your income
  • Make paying off debt a priority
  • Maintain sobriety

It's the structure that makes real change possible, and every woman in the house is working the same plan. You won't be doing any of it alone.

At St. Gianna's Place, we ask each woman to embrace the opportunities before her. To participate, to learn, and to grow. Our program is designed to help you build confidence, strengthen your independence, and create a strong foundation for the future you and your baby deserve.
