Thank you for considering St. Gianna's Place. Our volunteers are woven into everything we do, from fixing what needs fixing, painting a nursery, sharing meals, or helping a mother settle in on her first night. Whatever you have to give, there's a place for it here.
NONE OF THIS HAPPENS WITHOUT YOU.
Every meal shared, every ride to a prenatal appointment, every mentored moment happens because someone showed up.
When you volunteer with St. Gianna's Place, you become part of a family that walks with mothers through some of the most vulnerable and meaningful moments of their lives.
Our hope is that every volunteer understands not just what we do, but why we do it.
WHAT VOLUNTEERING LOOKS LIKE
BEHIND THE SCENES
Help around the house, in the yard, or with repairs. Organize donations. Prepare a room for a new resident.
WITH OUR MOTHERS
Mentor residents, teach classes, share meals, or drive to appointments.
AT OUR EVENTS
Support the banquet, help at drives, or share your gifts at other gatherings throughout the year.

If you decide to move forward, we'll send you a Volunteer Paperwork Packet with the application, a confidentiality agreement, and background check authorization.
We'll invite you over for a relaxed interview and tour. You'll meet our team, see the home, and learn about opportunities that match your gifts.
Before you begin, we'll walk you through your background check, the Volunteer Handbook, and Safe Haven Training.
