Rejoicing for 5 Years of Precious Life
Tonight we celebrate five years of precious life! Over the past five years, St. Gianna’s Place has been privileged to show God’s love and mercy to homeless moms and babies, saving and improving the lives of His most vulnerable children. We provide a welcoming home, education, and a path forward to women who have the courage to choose life for their children. Most importantly, we have introduced these young families to Jesus Christ, letting them know that they are truly loved and never alone.
None of this would be possible without you! Whether you pray for us, volunteer your time, or donate to our mission, we are all partners in Christ, working together for the success of St. Gianna’s Place. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your love and support.
We hope you enjoy your evening as we gratefully reflect on all God has done for St. Gianna’s Place over the past five years and look forward with confidence to where He will lead us in the future.

We are honored to announce Fr. Roarke (Rory) Traynor as the keynote speaker for our 2024 fundraising banquet. Ordained to the priesthood in 2022, Fr. Rory currently serves as parochial vicar at both St. Peter Parish in Auburn and St. John the Baptist Parish in Suncook. He is also the assistant chaplain for Trinity High School and St. Joseph Junior High School where he shares his passion and charism for youth ministry by spreading God’s message of hope and love to young adults and teens.
We would also like to take a moment to remember one of our own. Jacqueline Picken was a beloved staff member who gave her Saturday nights to St. Gianna’s Place for several years. Affectionally known as “our chaplain,” she shared her deep faith, wisdom, and compassion with our residents, other staff, and our volunteers. Jackie passed away on August 26th, but she left a beautiful legacy for which we will be forever grateful. Thank you, Jackie, for all you gave to so many.
